Arjun Bhasin is co-founder of Miicasabella, the short-term rental business he runs with his wife Tanya. Together they’ve built a $15M portfolio of four luxury properties in just 15 months, tracking to over $1.5M in annual revenue, with a fifth ground-up build underway. A tech executive at Meta by day, Arjun brings an engineer’s discipline to the business side of STR — from acquisition underwriting and financial modeling to weaving AI into day-to-day operations. His investment philosophy is depth over door count: a small number of carefully chosen properties, built with serious craft and amenity density. After a fast first chapter, he’s now focused on the less glamorous question of how to scale a depth-first portfolio without losing what made it work. Tanya Prabhakar is co-founder of Miicasabella and the creative and operational force behind every property in the portfolio. She has personally led each of the four luxury builds the couple completed in just 15 months, with a fifth ground-up project now underway. Tanya owns property execution end-to-end — starting from the guest avatar and shaping the experience backwards from there, then orchestrating the architects, designers, GCs, landscapers, artists, and operations teams it takes to bring the vision to life. She is the quiet through-line that keeps the original vision intact across every decision the build team makes along the way. Her path here has been anything but linear: she began her career in India as PR head for bestselling author Chetan Bhagat across publishing and his film adaptations, then ran digital marketing before relocating to the U.S., transitioning into software engineering before going all-in on Miicasabella. Tanya’s blend of storytelling instinct, design eye, and operational rigor is what gives the portfolio its premium edge, and she’s especially passionate about helping operators see that being top 1% in a market comes down to intentionality and craft — not timing or door count.
